This policy explains what information Automation Envoy collects through this website and through the services we provide, and what we do with it. We are a small business in Massachusetts that builds, hosts and runs websites and automations for other small businesses.

What we collect on this website

• Information you choose to send us. If you email us or book a call, we receive what you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, business name and anything you write to us.
• Basic technical information. Like most websites, the service that hosts this site automatically records technical details such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and when. This is used to keep the site running and secure.
• Fonts. This site loads its fonts from a third-party font service, which receives your IP address when the page loads.

This website has no contact form and no account login, and it does not set advertising or analytics cookies. If you use a booking link, the scheduling service that runs it may set its own cookies under its own policy.

How we use it

• To reply to you, and to schedule and hold the calls you book.
• To provide, support and bill for the services you sign up for.
• To keep this website and our systems secure and working.
• To meet our legal and tax obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not send marketing text messages to anyone who has not agreed to receive them.

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us run the business, such as hosting, email, scheduling, communications and payment providers, and only so they can do that work for us. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business.

Information we handle for our clients

When we run automations for a client business, such as answering or returning calls and texts, booking appointments, sending invoices or reminders, or requesting reviews, we handle information about that business's customers on the client's behalf and according to its instructions. If you are a customer of one of our clients, that business's own privacy policy applies, and you should contact the business directly with any request. We will help our clients respond.

Text messages and calls

Where we or our clients send text messages, you can reply STOP to stop receiving them. Message and data rates may apply.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, including any period the law requires, and then delete it or make it anonymous.

How we protect it

We take reasonable administrative, technical and physical steps to protect personal information. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your information, we will notify you as the law requires.

Your choices

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you can ask us to stop contacting you at any time. We will respond within a reasonable time and as the law requires.

Children

This website and our services are meant for businesses. They are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
